Shaymin
Today's card of the day is Shaymin. Shaymin is a grass type Pokemon that has 80 HP, which is pretty good, but not the best. The first attack, Energy Blow, does 10+ damage, but does 10 more damage for each energy attached to Shaymin, but this takes NO ENERGY! Aromatherapy, the second attack, does 40 damage, and takes 3 energy, 1 grass and 2 colorless. You get to remove two damage counters from EACH of your Pokemon. Shaymin has a weakness of fire +20, and a resistance of water -20. The retreat cost is one colorless energy, which is amazing. Sorry about posting late, I've had a lot of homework lately. I'll try to post soon. See ya later!
Metagross
Sorry, I've been having a lot of homework lately. Today's Card of the Day is Metagross. You can get this card in the Umbreon Theme Deck. Metagross has 130 HP, so he can withstand most attacks. His first attack, Strength, costs 3 energy, two steel energy and one colorless energy. This attack does 70 damage! This can KO most Pokemon! Metagross's second attack is Quad Smash. You have to flip 4 coins to do this attack. This attack costs 4 energy, 2 steel and 2 colorless. 0 coins=0 damage. 1 coin=50 damage. 2 coins=100 damage! 3 coins= 150 damage! 4 coins= 200 damage! This attack does 50 damage per heads. Metagross's weakness is fire X2, which sucks because that is my favorite type. His resistance is Psychic -20, which is good for him. Retreat Cost is 4 colorless energy, which is a lot of energy! Thank you for reading!
Rattata
Today's Card of the Day is Rattata. I just wanted to review the card that everybody loves! Just kidding about that, but he is pretty good considering that he does 20 damage. The first attack is gnaw, ehich only takes one energy! That's pretty good. His weakness is fighting X2 which isn't good, because if a fighting type Pokémon does 20 damage to Rattata, then he would be easily knocked out. Rattata doesn't have any resistance, which isn't good for you in a battle. Sadly, Rattata has one retreat cost, which isn't much, but you don't want to lose much/any energy.
Absol Prime
Today's Card of the Day is Absol Prime. Absol Prime has 80HP, which helps you survive most attacks. Absol Prime has one attack and one Poké-Body. If your opponent would put a basic Pokémon onto their bench, this activates the Poké-Body. That Pokémon gets two damage counters as a Prize. Vicious Claw, Absol Prime's first and only move, does 70 damage. Then you choose a Pokémon in your hand and put that Pokémon in the Lost Zone. This attack won't do anything if you don't put a Pokémon in the Lost Zone. Absol Prime's weakness is Fighting X2. He is weak to Pokémon like Machamp. The resistance is Psychic -20, Pokémon like Gengar. Absol Prime's retreat cost is one colorless energy, so this Pokémon is good to get in battle and out of battle.
Giratina LV. X
Today's Card of the Day is Giratina LV. X. He is a level up card; this means that you put him onto your active Giratina. Giratina LV. X can use all the moves and Poké-Powers and Poké-Bodies of the previous level. Giratina LV.X's Poké-Body is Invisible Tentacles. This means that whenever you opponent tries to attack, they have to discard a card from their hand, and if they can't, then the Pokémon cannot attack. Giratina LV.X's first and only attack is Darkness Lost. This takes four energy, two Psychic energy and two colorless energy. This attack does 30 damage to each of your opponents Pokémon and you don't apply weakness and resistance. If a Pokémon would be knocked out by this attack, the Pokémon would be sent to the lost zone instead of the discard pile.
Electabuzz Reprint
The Card of the Day today is Electabuzz Reprint. Reprint cards are really rare, but I have two, this one and another. Electabuzz Reprint has 70 HP, so he can withstand most attacks. His first attack is Thundershock, which takes one Lightning energy. Thundershock does 10 damage and you flip a coin, if heads, then the defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed. The second attack, Thunderpunch, takes two energy, one Lightning and one Colorless. This attack does 30+ damage, and you flip a coin, if heads, this attack does 10 more damage, but if tails, then Electabuzz does 10 damage to itself. Electabuzz has one weakness, which is fighting X2. He is weak to fighting Pokémon, resistant to no Pokémon, and has a retreat cost of two colorless energy. He is good for battle, but he is a reprint, so take care of them. Thank you for reading and stay tuned for tomorrows Card of the Day.
Salamence Delta Species
Rayquaza and Deoxys LEGEND
The card of the day today is Rayquaza and Deoxys LEGEND. This Pokémon requires both halves to use in battle, but when you put it into your deck each half counts as one card, but when you put them onto your bench as one, then the LEGEND counts as one card. The top half has the picture of Rayquaza and some of Deoxys, and the bottom half has the moves, Poké-Body, and Deoxys. The first and only move is Ozone Buster, which does 150 damage. This takes four energy, two fire, one lightning, and one colorless. After you do the attack, you have to discard all fire energy attached to Rayquaza and Deoxys LEGEND. The Poké-Body is Space Virus, which lets you draw one more prize card if you KO a Pokémon with this card. This Pokémon has two weaknesses, Psychic and Colorless X2, which means that this Pokémon is easier to KO against an Espeon Theme Deck. Thank You for Reading and stay tuned for tomorrow's Card of the Day.
Pichu
The card of the day today/night is Pichu. Pichu has 30 HP, this may seem week, but it's Poké-Body allows Pichu to not get damaged by an opponent while sleeping. It's first and only move, Playground, allows each player to search His or Her deck for as many basic Pokémon as they like and put them onto their bench, but they have to shuffle their deck afterward, and you put your cards down first. This attack doesn't need any energy, so you can use this all the time without using all the energy meant for your other Pokémon. Pichu is now asleep, which is good for the Poké-Body, but you cannot attack or retreat while asleep. Pichu doesn't have a weakness which is good in a battle, but Pichu doesn't have any resistance, which is horrible in a battle. What is good though, is Pichu has no retreat cost, so you can pull him in and out of the active Pokémon position whenever you want without paying any energy. If you have the Stadium Burned Tower, then you don't have to worry about discarding an energy.Thank you for reading the Card of the Day, and tomorrow, I will post another Card of the Day. I will try to post everyday, but I have a lot of homework.
